Didn't really see much of e.COM 2day cuz I focused on Spelling Bee (SP), that's cuz 2day I'm starting to play my role as a Judge along with Irine. Irine helped me out in figuring if what the participant said was correct. But Irine was with me only in the morning for Round 2.
Like about 3 of the participants spelled "J" as "G"..and so they were wrong even though what they meant was "J" but they said "G"! Anyway, for the afternoon, or Round 3, I was on my own as a Judge. Ternyata memusingkan dan bikin capek kalo jadi Judge.. I realized it in Round 3! I had to hear tons of people spell tons of words, whilst looking at the correct spelling. And there was this one girl who spelled too fast..sheesh...
Capek gw capek..padahal cuma dengerin orang doang.. Gw udah biasa dengerin curhatnya orang tapi itu gak bikin gw capek.
By the way, after Faustina "scolded" and got angry at the crew (aka the committee), I also expressed my feelings of sadness and upset by raising my voice to a high tone. I said that I was upset as last year's Project Leader b'coz the crew does not listen to Faustina in the previous Eva meetings, that is why up 'til the 3rd day of e.COM we still had problems, PLUS we had negative response from the questionnaires.. Hope that the last day turns out well...

e.COM'05 2nd Day
Even though I'm not playing my role as a Judge yet today, I helped the Spelling Bee team in "grading" the written test of the participants and before that I helped in watching over the participants as they take the test. It was really funny in seeing the participants' reactions to some of the words being read by Stephanie (Tephi) as the Pronouncer!! There was this one word that Tephi said, and this girl put her hand over her mouth as she said, "Mampusss.." huahahaha... gw pengen ketawa sebenarnya ngeliat reaksi para peserta! Tapi masa' pengawas test ketawa kayak orgil pas test-nya sedang berlangsung?! (O_o)
After the Spelling Bee Written Test was over, I returned to 311 to take a rest or just berdiam diri..not really laying down or anything. e.COM '05 1st Day
In the wee morning when I entered 311 I met Widya (Nindya's sister), she seems a bit more calm than her sister ^__^;; Since there were a lot of participants who didn't take a pic on the Technical Meeting, they had 2 take it 2day. Sooo the DPD (Design Production & Documentation) people including Nindya had to be at the lobby to stand by. But then, since Tommy came late nobody took pics of the Opening Ceremony!!! OMG! THAT is a BIG mistake that we didn't expect. But then when I was watching the Op.Ceremony with Widya I saw some people taking pics with their own camera or handphone. I took some pics too with my hp, since I 4got to bring my digicam :) Sooo the DPD people can get the pics from me.
Well today I was busy in the lab mostly after the Opening Ceremony. I was finishing up the Spelling Bee Word List. Tapi kalo boleh jujur, Opening Ceremony and lunch performance 2day ga heboh, gak kayak tahun lalu. Berlian Billiard
Oh man... I am NOT good in 9-ball, I'd rather play 8-ball. I played Billiard today with Dad, Mom and Ikhsan, but Mom just sat down on the couch. Now this place, Berlian Billiard, is a billiard place that doesn't sell alcohol cuz it's purpose is for sports. So there're some VIP and even VVIP rooms. That is why my parents allow me to play billiard in this place only, before we discovered this place I was never allowed to go play in other places with my frenz. Well whenever we play in Berlian Billiard we always use the VVIP room.
Anyway... even though I'm not good in 9-ball, I try u know. But 2day I'm really happy! Cuz the 1st game I played against my li'l bro (Ikhsan) I won!!! But then the score was 3-2 with Ikhsan winning 3 game sets... but then 2day it seems that my skills in taking shots are improving :) *happy*
9-ball is about luck most of the time. Like even if I shot in ball 1-8, if I can't get 9 in and my opponent gets it.. I am doomed... I lose. But in 8-ball it's all about the total of the balls shot. Like when I lost to my dad, 'twas b'coz I pushed in the 9-ball then the white cue ball bounced and went into the hole on the other side of the table!!! "HUAAAA...!!!!!", I screamed. It was very shocking, since the cue ball went in, automatically my dad wins. Huaaa dudul gw, terlalu kenceng jadi mental, masuk deh cue ball.... ;(
You know, some people think playing billiard is easy, but it's not. You need to think about physics and math when u play, technically.. Like the angle u need to take and how hard the power of your shot is. Now I've improved my angle skills..even though it's not a 100% success

I've been a geek all my life.. so puzzle games and mind-twisting or mind-bending games are my type of games.. including this sport named billiard....

Arrived @ campus @ 9AM, already crowded wit people.. some I don't know. That's cuz they're from the new batch, the 2009 Batch. I only know 2 of 'em, Asta & Miftah, & that's cuz of the religion session in the O'Days. Kalo gw bukan Pengurusnya BMS (Binus Moslem Society) gw ga bakalan kenal juga ama mereka ber2 ^_____^;;

Well..met lotsa people 2day..intinya itu..dan juga gw seneng. Udah lama ga ikutan kegiatan kepanitiaan kayak ini, wong e.COM yg gw ikutin kan udah 1 tahun berlalu. Jadi seneng aja gitu, walo harus keringetan (bikin guidebook), pusying (ambil foto peserta buat e.COM System Database) dan capek.. it's really fun to be in an organization! You get to meet new people so it widens your social network, have more friends..pokoke ketemu berbagai macam orang deh. Dan sudah pasti..kalo ada acara2 beginian kelakuan orang tuh ada2 aja deh yang aneh. Jadi inget tahun lalu... ada kasus-nya Sam, Karim en Coro. But I didnt' write it down in this blog of mine. They were doin' gay things.. OMG they were soo gay... ahaha :) pengen ketawa mengingatnya.

Pokoke gw excited banget tuk e.COM tahun ini! The total of the Participants doubled from last year! This year we have 'bout 400-sumthin'. WHOA!! Amazing! Congrats to Faustina and her team.. I'm juz an Advisor here this time.. not too helpful :D
Plus I'm gonna be a Judge for Spelling Bee this year! Doa'kan saya jadi juri yang bisa melaksanakan tugas dengan baik ;)

She got 2 special prizes u know... The 1st is winning 2nd place for this Awards thing, and the 2nd thing is.. that.. Kappa.. actually.. got.. a.. b...
Penasaran yaa...???? Tanya aja Kappa "dapet" apaan aja pas karantina langsung ke orangnya...

For the 1st Time in History

For the 1st time in history... USA made it to the Semi-Finals... even to the Finals of Badminton Champioships... AND EVEN got a medal!!! Not just any medal... but a GOLD MEDAL!!! That sucks, cuz I'm an Indonesian. It's s'posed to be an All-Indonesian Final in this 2005 World Badminton Championship. D'ya know why I said that? Cuz 3 out of the 4 players playing in the Final of the Men's Doubles are Indonesians.. the other guy (Howard Bach) is a Vietnamese-born..but he became an American citizen (if I'm not wrong), I despise the guy. The other three are: Chandra Wijaya and Sigit Budiarto playing for Indonesia, and Tony Gunawan playing for USA.
But on the other hand, even though the Indonesian team didn't bring home 3 Gold Medals but instead 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze, somehow I feel proud of Tony Gunawan. Cuz of his badminton-playing, his name was screamed by the Americans in support of his play. Bangga juga sih orang2 bule itu pada teriakin dan mengelu-elukan namanya... Ada orang bule nge-fans ama orang kita bo'! Sampe2 nama Tony ditulis di forehead-nya seorang cewe bule! Lucu juga... But then I'd be ashamed if I was an American, cuz it means USA didn't win purely, cuz they didn't use their own people, they paid Tony to play.

Sad..but true.. I don't know why Tony Gunawan did this but it's sad... Prob'ly Tony's not "used" anymore on the Indonesian National Badminton team, that's why he chose to play for another country... *sigh*

Sakit loh... apalagi gw merasa orang Indonesia-banget (lha..emang iya) maxudnya rasa nasionalisme gw kuat, jadiii ngeliat orang kayak gitu gw esmosi nonton pertandingannya.

Jadi nanti Tim 1 Indonesia akan melawan USA...
USA cheated...that's what I can say..maruk. Di cabang OR Badminton, dimana dia gak pernah masuk Semi-Final, "maksa" masuk dengan menggunakan jasa "orang luar" biar di-"sabet" ajah gitu gelar IBF! Ih curang abiss... terus terang aja gak mampu main bulu tangkis yang namanya orang bule Amrik! Jangan maksa kenape?! (O_o) I mean, it seems like USA just wanna be "Numero Uno" at eeeeev'rything! So they cheat in getting what they want, meng-halal-kan s'gala cara tuk mendapatkan yang diinginkan...!! Either it's (in this case) sports, politics, economy, et cetera, et cetera..the list goes on and on... huaduh... pusying... menyedihkan ya orang USA itu.. I don't know who's idea it was to put "foreigners" in USA's team. Pada bangga lagi pas dinyatakan USA menang & masuk Semi-Final!! Jijay bajaj.. cap cay.. siomay.. (O_o);;;

Have u ever watched TNA Wrestling before? I juz did, and that's only b'coz my dad and bro were watching it on cable. I mean everybody who is involved in and also watches this TNA thing, according to me, are juz plain stupid. Everybody knows already that it's all drama, aka acting. It's just not a real sport, it's drama.. It's just plain stupid... When this 1 guy "punched" his "enemy" u can see that it's fake! Ohmigod...ugh...so not importante.. ada fotonya mereka^__^;; lutunaaaa... They're bout a year old.
Eniwei, from Monday 'til today (15th - 18th of August) mereka dititipin di rumah Pung Mama. Dan karena nyokap perlu therapy for her backaches at Dad's office (BI), after she's done with the therapy she goes to Pung Ma's house. Pung Ma emang akhir2 ini semakin lemah ;(( wajar aja sih, she's 87 years old already, but she still has strong memory!!! Then I pick Mom up with the chauffeur. Otomatis gw ketemu ama Si Kembar. hehehe senangnyaa....I feel entertained when around li'l kids :D
Kalo Lala langsung nempel..Dee-dee agak susah ama orang yang udah lama gak pernah ketemu, apalagi pas hari Selasa itu Dee-dee baru bangun. Gw ajak Lala keluar liat aquarium ikan, truz main di kamar. Truz sebelum lunch gw pulang. Pas 17-an juga, on Wednesday after havin' lunch Mom, Dad and I went to Pung Ma's house again. Ade ada acara di SMUN8 after the flag ceremony. When we arrived at Pung Ma's house, the Twins were still there this time with their parents, Kak Fenny and Bang Henry. Like the day before, it didn't take long for Lala to be "stuck" on me. Mau aja gituh gw gendong, ga protes^___^;;
Hari itu, Dee-dee juga baru bangun jadi belum nyadar gw itu siapa, jadi ga mau digendong ama gw. Pas udah agak sore, mereka mandi sore. Selese mereka mandi sore, Ade gw telpon minta dijemput. Jadi gw yang tadinya main "ciluk-baa" ama si Kembar di depan pintu kamarnya, jadi melambaikan tangan sambil mengatakan, "Daag! Dadaahh!"
Eeeehhh..!! Tau2nya Dee-dee nge-rengek minta digendong! Udah nge-rangkak ampe pinggir tempat tidur..karena gw takut dia jatuh akhirnya gw masuk ke kamar nyamperin dia. Truz tangannya ke atas minta digendong. Karena gak tega gw gendong, truz dia nunjuk2 keluar. Gw bilang, "Gak boleh Dee-dee, Dee-dee belum pakai baju.."
Truz pas dia mo dipakein singlet ama Mbak-nya eh..marah! Wuaduh galak juga Dee-dee ^___^ Tapi dengan usaha yang keras dari Mbak, akhirnya terpakaikan juga singletnya..tapi celana belum... Dia minta gw bawa keluar..karena di depan rumah Pung Ma lagi ada lomba 17-Agustusan, dan ada lagunya, jadi dia tertarik mo keluar. Tapi karena gw udah buru2 harus pulang mo jemput ade, akhirnya gw taro Dee-dee lagi di tempat tidur...eeehhh dia teriak truz nangis! Kalo kata Pung Ma, Ade'nya (Diandra) cemburu ama Kakaknya (Sharla) karena dari tadi yang digendong sama Auntie Mutia cuma Kakaknya, cieehhh Auntie Mutia ;) Abis kalo gw dipanggil Tante Mutia..kesannya kayak Tante2 bangettt gitu loh... atau Tante2 girang!! huaaaa...
Udah gw "oper" ke Emak-nya (Kak Fenny) Dee-dee masih nangis ampe teriak gituh...Duh kasian.. tapi mo gimana lagi? Auntie harus pergi.. Gw bilang, "Enggak, Auntie gak jahat koq ama Dee-dee. Besok Auntie Mutia kesini lagi deh. Ya? Dadaahhh..." Makin kenceng aje nangisnya! Waduh gawat..! Biar aja deh biar Mak-nya aja yang urus ^____^ ehehe... Maaph Kak Fen, tapi anakmu yang nempel2 ama aku lohh ^____^;;
Hari ini gw kesana lagi, tapi gak lama..karena Ibu pengen pulang cepet, ngantuk katanya abis di-therapy.. Duh lucu deh... Gw baru dateng, truz Mbak Lastri keluar bawa Lala, gw sodorin tangan gw, langsung dia mau digendong ama gw!! aiiihhh...lutunaaaaa... Tapi gw gak lama gendong Lala, karena kemaren Dee-dee nangis karena iri, jadi gw bilang, "Lala gantian ya Auntie gendong Dee-dee sekarang.." Jadi gw gendong Dee-dee.
Pas Ibu udah mo pulang gw balikin lagi Dee-dee ke Mbaknya. Truz gw bilang lagi, "Dadaaahhh..." Awalnya Dee-dee anteng2 ajah. Pas Lala en Dee-dee dibawa keluar ama Mbak-nya dan juga Mbak Lastri (Mbak Lastri pembantunya Pung Ma, jadi sebenernya Mbaknya si Kembar cuma 1, gw ga tau pula namanya Mbak siapa ^___^;;;) Dee-dee baru sadar bahwa gw mo pergi. Gw udah mo jalan ke mobil dia minta gendong, gw dadah-dadah..dia nge-rengek... Jadi gw gendong lagi sebentar, truz gw balikin lagi ke Mbak-nya. Eh nangis lageee, jadi dibawa ke dalem ama Mbak-nya. Hahaha... lucu. Kata Ibu, "Hayoo loh.. Mut tanggung jawab kamu, bikin anak orang nempel ama kamu truz nangis."
Wuaduh...bukan salah gw kan anak2 kecil selalu nempel ama gw??? Kata Ibu, 'Nik (ibunya Ibu-ku, singkatan dari kata Ninik = Grandma in Sundanese) doeloe juga kayak gitu... anak2 kecil selalu seneng ama dia, langsung nempel gitu. Wah ternyata ada sifat atau aura 'Nik yang turun ke gw. Kalo kata Ade gw yang rese' itu.."Kakak punya aura seorang baby-sitter..." Kurang asyemmmmm..!!!!! Bukan begitu...emang sih dari SMP waktu di USA, gw jadi baby-sitter tuk anak2nya temennya Ibu yang orang Indo yang tinggal disana, pas Ibunya pergi kerja. Ponakan gw yang sekarang udah kelas 2 SD, Dinda aja pernah nginep di rumah gw pas Kak Ita pergi ke Medan, truz gw bantu jagain. Pas kuliah tingkat 2 juga, gw pernah kerja di sebuah Pre-School & Day Care, ada 1 anak bernama Icha yang nempel ama gw. Di kampus aja.. gw dipanggil Mami!!! Huaduh...awalnya gw ngerasa aneh..tapi yaa sudahlah... Awalnya Nopi yang manggil gw Mami, truz Icha..truz "anak" gw tambah banyak!!! wakakaka... Kata Nopi sih gw punya aura ke-Ibu-an, pantesan kalo lagi di jalan gw dipanggil "Ibu" melulu. Sampe2 ama tukang jualan jus di depan rumah gw bilangin, "Mang, jangan panggil Ibu, baru 20 tahun masa' dipanggil Ibu..."
Jadi...bukan salah gw kan anak2 kecil selalu nempel ama gw???

Eniwei, from Monday 'til today (15th - 18th of August) mereka dititipin di rumah Pung Mama. Dan karena nyokap perlu therapy for her backaches at Dad's office (BI), after she's done with the therapy she goes to Pung Ma's house. Pung Ma emang akhir2 ini semakin lemah ;(( wajar aja sih, she's 87 years old already, but she still has strong memory!!! Then I pick Mom up with the chauffeur. Otomatis gw ketemu ama Si Kembar. hehehe senangnyaa....I feel entertained when around li'l kids :D
Kalo Lala langsung nempel..Dee-dee agak susah ama orang yang udah lama gak pernah ketemu, apalagi pas hari Selasa itu Dee-dee baru bangun. Gw ajak Lala keluar liat aquarium ikan, truz main di kamar. Truz sebelum lunch gw pulang. Pas 17-an juga, on Wednesday after havin' lunch Mom, Dad and I went to Pung Ma's house again. Ade ada acara di SMUN8 after the flag ceremony. When we arrived at Pung Ma's house, the Twins were still there this time with their parents, Kak Fenny and Bang Henry. Like the day before, it didn't take long for Lala to be "stuck" on me. Mau aja gituh gw gendong, ga protes^___^;;

Nihonggo
Hehehe...gw udah mulai les Jepang nih... Tingkat dasar..belajar Huruf Katakana karena Hiragana gw udah pernah belajar sendiri. Plus belajar Aisatsu (Perkenalan), numbers, baru dasar2nya berbahasa Jepang. Nah itu udah 5 kali pertemuan dan Selasa depan (16 Agustus) gw ujian kenaikan tingkat!! He3 biasanya tgkt dasar itu 10 kali pertemuan baru naik tingkat, tapi karena gw udah tau hiragana sebelumnya jadi cepet gw nangkep pelajarannya...

Hahaha...akhirnya ada jagoan gw yang menang tahun ini. Tahun lalu jagoan gw ga ada yang masuk Grand Final ^_______^;;
At last MIKE the guy I've rooted for since the beginning of the Indonesian Idol competition WON!!!! I was soo happy I was jumpin' in my seat! You can't imagine the ecstatic feeling I have right now... What I like about Mike is that he sings all the songs with feeling, and he sings from the bottom of his heart with a pure angel voice....
Congrats again for Mike! I'll buy your album when it comes out! :)
