(No, this song was not made for the disaster that happened in Aceh and other parts of Asia. But some parts remind me of the situation that I saw on the news in Aceh.)

"Happy" New Year's??

Well looking at the title..u can't really say that for Indonesia... With all the natural disasters happening in the East and Western parts of the country, and the slow pace that the government is doing to help the people in Aceh.

A lot of people are raising charity for our brothers and sisters in Aceh, but the food, clothes and other stuff for them can't reach them. There was an area where they shared one portion of lunch for six people. They don't have any food to eat and clean water to drink. Most of the basic commodity that were contributed to the charity were "stuck" in the Polonia Airport, Medan, North Sumatra Province. The North Sumatra Province is just south of Aceh, some parts of it was also influenced by the tsunami, especially the small Nias Island.

Airplanes couldn't land in the Banda Aceh province 'til yesterday.. It was a rough landing because the land was cracked because of the earthquake that happened before.

They also need volunteers there to help give out the commodity to the people of Aceh, to help bury the corpses, to help clean up the place, etc. I wanna be a volunteer but I can't stand being near a corpse, while the situation over there makes you see corpses everywhere, all along the street.. I hope that the government takes control over this disaster soon, by mobilizing some of the Indonesian soldiers there and exert all the power that the government has to help the people there.

This disaster may mean Indonesia should unite. We should all be firmly united in facing this struggle in going against this disaster, despite our ethnic group, race, and religion background. We should all pray to God The Almighty to protect us from more severe disasters.

This disaster may also mean a warning from God, that if He says it will happen then it will without any human who can stop it. Oh yeah, my friend Ika is ok but some of her relatives (uncle, aunt, cousin) passed away or weren't found yet. I still feel like crying...

Tears in Indonesia (Air Mata di Ibu Pertiwi)

Nature caused panic, tears, & sadness in the land of Indonesia in the morning of December 26, 2004 a day afterXmas.. An earthquake with a Richter Scale of 8.9 that happened under the Indian Ocean caused a tsunami to the lands touching this sea. It seemed like Poseidon was in a rage. The tsunami hit the Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province (Aceh) in West Indonesia and other parts of the Sumatra Island that touches the Indian Ocean in Indonesia. It also hit Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maldives, and even Somalia, Africa. But most of the victims were from Sri Lanka and Indonesia, 'bout more than 6,000 in Sri Lanka and more than 4,000 in Indonesia. A lot of the victims in Aceh were children who were not able to save themselves from the big waves that dragged them for miles towards the raging sea..

After the tsunami passed, people started to try to find their lost relatives... Corpse after corpse were found and were lined up at the side of the streets. I was going to cry seeing that on the news. I tried to contact a friend of mine (Zikra or Ika as we call her) who goes to college in Aceh, but it couldn't connect. All the electricity and telecommunication services were down in Aceh. Even her parents couldn't reach her, her dad just took a flight there this morning. I just hope that Allah SWT will protect her..may Allah SWT be with her..

The tsunami happened not long after an earthquake happened in Nabire in the Irian Jaya Province in East Indonesia. Ohmigod.. a lot of natural disasters happening in Indonesia before the end of the year. Hope that it will mean more good things in the future for Indonesia. Come to think about it, all these natural disasters happen at the time of the rainy season too.

Oh Allah, please protect Indonesia and give the better for all of us...Amiinn...

Merry Xmas to all who celebrates it! Although for the people in Jakarta, Indonesia they experience a "Rainy Xmas"not a "White Xmas" ^_^;

I picked Dad up at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport with Mom and Ikhsan with the chauffeur riding the new Suzuki APV.Then we ate lunch at Warung Daun Resto in Jl.Wolter Monginsidi (near Blok M and Blok S). Dad just came home froma business trip in Saudi Arabia. He came home bringin' lotsa dates and assorted nuts! He also brought me almonds that I wanted..hmm yummy.. :P There were also chocolate covered dates with almonds inside. So you take the seed out from the dates, put an almond as a substitute, then the dates-with-almond-inside are covered with chocolate.

Jang Na Ra!!!!

I went 2 Plaza Indonesia and also Plaza Indonesia EX (no duuhh, nyambung gitu loohhh) wit my family. I saw a poster of Jang Na Ra, the Korean singer who sang "Sweet Dreams", and she was actually there that nite! She was at the Red Tomato Resto on the ground floor, so when u get thru the lobby of Plaza Indonesia EX and turn left the resto is on the right side. I went 2 Dairy Queen 2 buy an Oreo Blizzard wit Cappuccino flavor.. hmm...delicious...! On the way there I went past Red Tomato and I saw a crowd there, and right in the middle there was Jang Na Ra! She's pretty and petite size, but not as petite as Carrot-who-get-mistaken-for-a-middle-school-girl *sujud kepada Carrot* huaaaahhh maappphhhh Carrot!!! We then ate dinner at Cafe Oh La La in Plaza Indonesia, and also bought some bread in Bread Story Bakery. The Hero bread taste soooo goooood, almost everybody who bought some bread there bought at least 1 Hero bread!

Oia, gw juga kesiangan dini hari bangunnya jadi gak ikut seminar dech. Itu gara2 gw kecapekan jalan2 keliling Blok M plus kurang tidur malem sebelumnya, jadi udah dech...teparrrr.... Ma-aaappphh ya Kappa m(_ _)m

Belanja di Blok M

Today I belanja buanyaaakkkk!!!! Tapi gak sebanyak Kappa siy ^_^; So, as planned, Nindya, Ron, Susanti, and I 2day went 2 Blok M. 2day was "Tour de Blok M Day" for the 3 of them. Lebih penting buat Kappa siy, karena dia udah 2 TAHUN ngekos di Kebayoran Baru deket kampus, taunya cuma Senayan doank! Sampe2 dia bilang di blog bahwa kalo dia mo cari komik dia harus ke Gramedia TA!!! Masya Allah...

Jadi saya berinisiatif tuk menunjukkan jalan kepada Kappa-yang-malang-nan-tak-tau-arah itu...Gw baik ya? *ditimpuk penonton* Jadi qta pergi dengan diantar supirnya Carrot ke Terminal Blok M. Di basement-nya terminal tuch ada beberapa kios yang jual komik2 murah, tapi ternyata setelah sekian lama gw gak pernah ke sono, sudah tinggal dikit kiosnya *hix* Disitu pas kios pertama gw belanja byk, 5 komik ama 1 majalah plus 1 tabloid which sums up to Rp.63.000,-! *jadi gak enak* Abiz itu qta ke Gramedia Melawai melewati pasar gituh..maaph ya Carrot, jadi basah..yach sayah kan sudah remind 2 wear shoes if u have a pair. Nah disitulah Kappa belanja buanyaaaakkkkk.. lebih dari gw (read: more than Rp.63.000,-!)!!! Udah kayak gitu gw ngomporin dia suruh beli novel dan komik2 yang laen huahahaha :D

Dari situ karena masih ada waktu, qta ke Plaza Blok M! Tapi.. uh-oh.. tuk sampai ke sana harus melewati jembatan penyeberangan! I'm embarrassed 2 say dat I uhhh... I... I am.... I'm afraid of heights.. some kinda lowest-level-phobia of heights. Well if phobia has these levels, I would be level 1 (de lowest level), cuz my phobia doesn't make me freak out like crazy! So we crossed the bridge, and of course I made it safely to the other side. At Plaza Blok M we ate lunch at Firesteak since Carrot was hungry. After dat we round n round Blok M Plaza a bit then we go back 2 de parking lot in Terminal Blok M, and that means... I have 2 cross the bridge again! ARGH! Oh the agony agony agony... *like Bugs Bunny* But hey! I made it, of course I did, cuz I told the others 2 not walk too fast..haha.. After that we went back 2 campus and I went home wit my chauffeur riding a Nissan Cefiro, it's my grandma's (Opung).

Ada ratusan juta di rekening gw! Tapi...kartu debitnya lagi dipegang ma nyokap dan sudah ku beritahu PINnya jadi...yaaa... begitulah...

Bubye Kuda *hix*

'Tis the last nite wit my car the Mitsubishi Kuda. Well technically it's not mine, it's my Dad's, but the ones who usually use it are the children, that is to say my li'l bro and I. I arrived at home very late at about 8 or so. I helped Kappa take the newspapers from the BiNus Marketing to the lockers in the basement for the Stu Com (read: Student Committee). If any of you Stu Com members read this, tolong loe bertanggung jawab donk. Jangan asal tinggal aja gituh. Kan kasian Nindya selalu jadi korban, hanya karena dia sudah pasti selalu ada di kampus jam segitu. Untung aja gw masih ada di kampus jadi tugasnya dibagi dua. Imagine 2 gals bringing newspapers (tuk diloakkin) from the Back Office on the first floor, past the Student Services, past the lobby, go down the stairs, past the cafeteria and out again to the clubs' locker area. Udah gitu di kantin banyak mahasiswa S2 pada lagi makan ^_^;

Eniwei, gw nyampe rumah jam 8 malem. Nyampe di rumah, Om Encep udah di rumah tuk bertugas mencopoti TV yang di Kuda, jadi ada yang mo beli mobil Kuda bokap gw dengan isi originalnya, jadi TVnya dicopot-lah. That was the last time I saw the Kuda..

(Almost) no class...

2day I suddenly got a message that there's only one class, that is the 2nd period which is Software Project Management. So I take off from home at about 8:30AM with my chauffeur. On the way, as usual I listened to MTVSky(101.4), and in the morning it's DJs Kemal and Rifin (I think that's how u spell their names). When I got to the Ampera area, suddenly "the song" was played!!! 'Twas "Breaking Through" by Toshi Kubota!!! And a couple of songs after that they played.... *JRENG-JRENG* Christian Bautista "The Way You Look at Me".

Rejeki Nomplok!!!

Kemaren sore pulang dari kampus cape, tapi pas di jalan gw denger lagunya Toshi Kubota called "Breaking Through"! Trus pagi ini gw denger tuch lagu lagi on the way to campus... Waah senangnya... Abiz enak banget tuch lagu, suaranya Toshi juga. Kalo gak salah dia juga yang nyanyi "LaLaLa Love Song" soundtrack-nya Dorama Jepang "Long Vacation" yang ada Kimu Taku-nya (Kimura Takuya).

Gw sambil browsing website-nya dia ternyata dia terkenal di Amrik!!! WOW!! He even made a concert in the US! I think he's kinda like Utada Hikaru whose latest album is all in English and had help from the talented people of the US music industry.

Sekarang gw lagi di lab 403 nungguin dijemput ditemani oleh Kappa di sebelah gw yang lagi browsing juga. Semoga saja nanti on the way home I get to hear Toshi again *berharap dengan sangat* aaaarrrggghh...outside I hear thunderrrrr....!!!!

Crap Crap Crap......!!!!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.....!!!!!! This is the worst week in my life! Gw sial bgt minggu ini, the 1st week in December...I think this is a sign for a bad month in front of me *sigh*

It started on Dec 1 (no duuuhhh) where Dad, as usual, dropped me off @ campus, but this time he needed 2 go 2 da bathroom. So we parked at the side of the lobby (is that wat u call it?) and we went off the car. As I got off, I didn't realize that there was this cement thing, and then... ba-da-bang-ba-da-boom! *JEDUG* OWWWWW!!!! My foot hurt! I bumped into the cement thingy and I was wearing sandals (T_T) hueeeee sakiiiitttttt....!!!! Jari kaki gw rada bengkak trus ada lecet2nya pula!

Itu sial yg pertama.... Sial ke-2 baru terjadi kemaren... Kmaren kan Kak Devy (sepupu gw) tunangan, jadi ada acara di rumahnya di Bandung. Gw rencananya mo ikut bo-nyok ke Bdg, tapi gw harus ke dokter gigi (orthodontist). Jadwal sebenernya tgl 27 November kemaren, tapi waktu itu gw gak sempet, jadi tgl 4 Desember dech. Sudah susah2 minta supir dateng on de weekend en gw pergi ke drg itu...eh..malah dokternya kagak dateng....!!!!! Gw tunggu2 tak kunjung datang... Anjrittttt... Crap! Sial lagi gw.... Minggu yang tidak mengenakkan.. Trus setelah itu gw mo ke PIM kan, jadi gw pergi (dianterin supir) ama ade gw...ehhh...my bro brought his fren along. And on the way to PIM, there was a traffic jam!!!!! HUAAAAAAA.......!!!!! I've had it..! When I got 2 PIM I ate @ A&W (cuz my bro's fren didn't hav enuff cash). After that...gw jalan2 sendirian...!!! Biasanya gw ga masalah jln2 sendiri di mall, tapi.... gw lagi BeTe ginih... gw perlu temen tuk nemenin jalan2... Udah gitu gw SMS bo-nyok trus dibales agar gw sabar truz cerita2 bahwa mereka lagi di Cihampelas Walk (CiWalk) dan ada resto Itali yg enak bgt kaya di Ranch Market, Columbus, Ohio... Huaaaaaaaaa.....!!! TAMBAH BeTe gw...!!!! And on the way home from there, I had 2 drop off my bro and his fren at another 1 of his friends' house. SO I was @ home alone (T_T) Gw pikir ya udahlah, it's not the end of the world nor is it the end of the week yet, maybe I'll find sumthin' good on Sunday (read: 2day)... I mean I bought a lotta comic books on Saturday...

BUUUUTTTTT.................. nasib berkata lain!!!! Sial lagi hari ini! Gw makan kripik singkong yg agak keras, truz tiba2 koq kayanya ada bagian yg KERAS BGT, ya udah I spit it out. At first I was like, oh ok juz another rock in the road... tapiii setelah diteliti lagi... Itu salah satu hook dari kawat gigi gw!!! ARGGGHHHHHH.....!!!!!!!!!!! Sekarang salah satu ujung kawat di kawat gigi gw is dangling inside my mouth, and anytime the insides of my cheeks can get scratched, ugh.. I just pray that all this annoying stuff will end up good.... I hope 2moro will be better than 2day... *sigh* hix hix hix (T_T)

Happy Birthday Opung!!

My grandma (or Pung Mama as I call her) had her 87^th birthday yesterday on November 11^th, 2004. So we break our fast at her house, even though I wasn't fasting yesterday. It sucks, the last days of Ramadhan I suddenly had my period.. Padahal 10 hari terakhir penuh berkah dan bisa mendapatkan malam Lailatul Qadar. Oh well, what can I do...tiada guna menyesal...

I had a chance 2 talk with Pung Mama, ternyata beliau pernah menjadi bagian dari Boroe Tapanoeli (Boru Tapanuli), dalam bahasa Batak Boru = anak perempuan, Tapanuli diasosiasikan dengan tanah Batak. Jadi Boroe Tapanoeli ini kumpulan remaja perempuan yang rutin mengirimkan karya tulis ke koran lokal (kalo gak salah). Jadi ceritanya Pung Mama lagi ngeliatin sebuah fotokopian yang ada fotonya.

Jadi 'ku tanya, "Ini siapa Pung?"

Pung Mama,"Yang paling kiri ini Pung Mama. Yang lain udah pada gak ada, tinggal Pung Mama, paling cuma satu lagi yang namanya Lela kalo gak salah.."

Trus beliau cerita2 tentang pengalamannya dulu. Ternyata kertas itu isinya tentang sejarah jurnalisme di Indonesia.. Wah, ternyata my grandma was a great woman, she also was a teacher for 5 years. Cita2nya tuch pengen punya sekolah atau semacam perguruan gitu dech.

I just wish for the best for my grandma. If God allows, I hope she still stays with us a bit longer, but if it only makes her suffer it maybe better to take her away from this world. Cuz I feel sorry for her when she had to see one of her children die before her, and other problems some of her children are facing. That's why I just hope
and pray for the best for Pung Mama.

The amazing thing is that even though she's already 87 years old, she's still in a healthy condition for her age, mentally and physically. I mean of course her eye sight's not 20/20 vision anymore and neither is her hearing 100% normal, but she doesn't have any illness like diabetes or stuff like that. Mentally she's very very healthy. She can think normally and rationally, more rational than her children sometimes. Her memory's still strong
too. That's all because of her routine in reading the Qur'an, and also reading the newspaper and magazine for up-to-date info every day. Sometimes she knows more of the latest gossip in the world of the Indonesian celebrities (^_^)

Nindya on TV~

Wuaaaahhh... I saw Kappa alias Nindya on TV today jumping up and down!!! As everyone knows...she won 2nd place in the NOKIA-Marketing Mag Award 2004! And it was recorded by Metro TV...the recording was played 2day (Tuesday, October 12, 2004) at 9PM on Metro TV (no duuhh:p)! And u know what?! Nindya was dressing formal and had some make-up on! Wahahaha...

Ahahaha...when can I meet you again Mr. Adam György?
*drifting off in a dreamland* Oh mee oh my... I said once
that I would "fall in love" with a guy that could either play
classic piano or classic guitar very well... Especially if the
song on the guitar is "Romance D'Amour", I can play only
the first half of it >_< And any beautiful classical song to
my ear on the piano...

Last night I went to a classical music concert which had a
performance from Nusantara Symphony Orchestra and
also a Hungarian World-Known Pianist
named Adam György. It was a tribute concert to Franz Liszt
one of the greatest composers of all time! The songs that Liszt
composed were all beautiful, and some parts a bit slow, but
I don't mind cuz I like classical music :)

The concert was in Balai Sarbini Concert Hall, started at
8 PM on Thursday, October 7th, 2004. I got 2 tickets free
from Dad, who got it from his office free. Both tickets were
VIP II tickets at Rp.500.000,- each. So it's a mill for both.
My dad couldn't go with me cuz he had a business trip to
Aceh! (Daerah conflict >,<) Then my mom didn't feel like it
cuz she didn't wanna go through the traffic, even though we
use a chauffeur. So I asked Dhita to accompany me, and she
was more than happy to come with me (",)

After class at 3PM I went home, sent the Interview Essay
homework to the lecturer, then took a bath. At about 6PM
I ate dinner by myself, cuz my mom had to pick my li'l bro
up at school (SMP Al-Izhar Pondok Labu). My li'l bro's
gonna have a "Kompetisi Elektro" against other middle
schools, so he's been focusing on that in the past weeks.
Then I went to pick Dhita up at her house, I arrived there
at about 6:40PM. When she got on the car, she suddenly
said, "Mut, I'm so excited, cuz it's been a long time I haven't
seen this kind of concert before!"

Then we got to Balai Sarbini, and I met Miranda Gultom who
was, not surprisingly, the Chairwoman of the event. She told us
to go straight to our seats, when actually we just arrived
there and wanted to have a coffee and snack first...huh udah
diusir ajah..salah sendiri sih nyampe jam 8 kurang^_^hehe
So we went to our seats, and we saw a cute usher too on the
way*wink wink*hehehe.. We saw a lot of "bule" watching, I
dunno if they were Americans or Europeans. And we also saw
lotsa other famous people like: Irma Hutabarat (who was the
MC of the nite, but actually I was thinkin' that it'd be better
if I had substituted her..my English is better..hehe), Siswono
Y.H. (one of the people who ran for Vice Prez in the 1st round
of the Presidential election) and Pia Alisyahbana (from the
Femina Magazine group).

At about 8:15PM the concert started with an opening by the
MC. Then Mr. Adam György started his solo act on the piano
by playing 4 songs:
1. "Rigoletto Paraphrase" - Franz Liszt
2. "Hungarian Rhapsody #6" - Franz Liszt
3. "La Campanella" - Franz Liszt
4. "Hungarian Rhapsody #2" - Franz Liszt

There was an intermission after that, a break for the audience
and also performer. After the ending of each song I clapped
with all my heart and I was just amazed by Adam György's
piano playing! As he played through out the song I just stared
in awe at his hands which were flowing up and down the piano
keys so elegantly. He did cross-overs elegantly, and between
phrases did elegant lifts... Oh my, I wish I had those delicate
hands so I can play like him, or maybe I can just have the
pianist to myself? Hahaha...

After the intermission, the Nusantara Symphony Orchestra
played a song from Bela Bartok "Roumanian Dances". Then
performed "Totentanz" by Franz Liszt with Adam György
on the piano. After that was all done, they received a standing
ovation from the audience, and it went on for long.. sooo
long that they came back to the stage and Adam sat again
on the piano bench. Then he played..."Indonesia Pusaka" so
soft and delicately...on the first 5 notes of the song, the whole
audience clapped for him cuz he played an Indonesian song!
I was touched cuz he played an Indonesian national song and
played it very very soft and delicately... After that he went off
stage and the orchestra played 1 song. When the orchestra
was playing, I was also touched cuz it made some pieces of my
past memories fly by me. The time when I was still playing
the violin in the Cranbrook Elementary School Orchestra; the
Columbus Elementary Schools' Orchestra at St. John's Arena,
Ohio State University, Columbus. Ohio, uSA (this event
included about 4 representatives from each Elementary school
in Columbus, Ohio and I was one of 'em from my school); and
the Ridgeview Middle School Orchestra. In the concert at
St. John's Arena, the conductor was Mrs. Lundeen who became
my teacher when I entered Ridgeview Middle School.

Ohmigod... when the concert was over, there was a giving
of some bouquet of flowers to Adam, the conductor
(Edward C. Van Ness), and the Ambassador of Hungary for
Indonesia (Dr. GyorgyBusztin). There was also a little interview
by the MC with Adam, and Mrs. Irma Hutabarat asked how
old he was; and he answered...twenty-two... I looked at Dhita,
and I was like, "Dhita! He's only 22! We have a chance!" and
Dhita was like, "Ohmigod Mut, he's only 22!" Well the point of
that conversation was.. Dhita and I "wanted" Adam...!
hahahahaha... :D It's true..at least for me it is... Terpesona gw
ama yang namanya Adam György! huahahaha
And he's a World-Known Pianist too...!

Well enough of Adam..I wanna do some nostagila eits salah
nostalgia I mean...

I remembered when I was in Ridgeview, since I was a junior
I started at the 2nd Violin part for the 1st year (6th grade),
then advanced to the 1st Violin part in 7th grade and 8th grade.
But then in the position of the orchestra, as a 2nd Violinist we
aren't on the most outer part of the half-circle orchestra layout.
It was 1st Violin then 2nd Violin. When I became one of the 1st
Violinists in 7th grade, I still had my senior, Rebecca, who was
on the right side of me. So when my dad brought the video
camera, he said that he wasn't able to see me clearly because
from the audience point of view, they'd see Becca first then me.
At last in my last year in Ridgeview, I was placed in the outer-
most part of the 1st Violin section... hehehe... bangga lagi
*hits myself* I'm tellin' this story not because I'm so proud of
myself and try to boast it around, but I'm just re-living my
memories...haaah...

Kasus..kasus...

Ohmigod! I was at campus 2day (Friday, September 24, 2004...and
I still am...) and there was a CONFLICT!!! In room 208...I thought
that the 2nd floor would be a quiet place to study at, cuz I had to do
the Software Project Management SIMProject...eh malah ada orang
yang "berantem"..berantem mulut sich.

So there were 3 conflicts in total...

1. A student with a security guy
2. A guy student with another guy student
3. A lecturer with a girl student

Sebenarnya tuk #2 itu 1 guy (A) melerai the other guy (B) & the
lecturer yg conflict ama si cewe (yg merupakan cewenya si B). Sang
lecturer agak2 rese' juga sich..muridnya mo ngasih tugas malah
dikacangin gitu. Tapi sekesal-kesalnya elo ama orang yg "menyakiti"
pacar loe jangan ampe loe esmosi ama dosen..tahan dikit-lah, respect
for the elder ya know. Truz jadi lecturer juga nyang bener duonk
kasih tau ke student-nya, jangan ampe muridnya salah paham akan
jam menyerahkan tugas.

Udah ah..I don't wanna talk about conflicts, gives me a head ache.
What I wanna talk about is..yesterday I joined BIBC! We played
basket ball at BiNus School, in their indoor court on the 9th floor.
That was the 1st time I went to Simprug..WAH amazing...
Begitulah reaksi gw (kampung banget yak?!)

The problem was that when I was in Elementary School in Manado,
North Celebes (cie elah..keren amit yak?! mxdnye Sulawesi Utara)
we played hide-and-seek on a dirt-covered ground that was also
used for the weekly Flag Ceremony (upacara mxdnye). Keren
banget bo' Sekolah Bina Nusantara! *staring at the building in awe*

Back to the story...I played basketball. The gurlz were Me & Bea from
the 2006 Batch, Marcella from 2007, and Sisca, Beatrice, Michelle (*)
and Diani (*) from 2008 --> (*) = I'm not sure of these girls' names^_^

And so we played...heboh dah kalo cewe nyang maen... o(>_<)o
There was this one time where I just caught the ball and my right
foot didn't land on the gound yet...suddenly Marcella went by me and
took the ball...Since I was surprised, my foot landed in the wrong
position...kecitet gitu..kecitet..keceklek....whatever you call it. Right
there and then I couldn't walk properly, but a good thing 'twas half-
court ;) So I was just waiting under the ring ^_^ ahaha...

That reminds me...Faustina's foot went through the same thing, but
her foot's condition is worse than me. So the story goes... On Monday,
at lunch time I was supposed to meet her, Tinq2 and Talita to talk
'bout e.COM 2004's Evaluation Presentation for Student Committee.
When I was trying to find Faustina, I met Mario who said that Faust
hurt her foot and is sitting on the stairs. So then I went to the stairs
on the 2nd floor..she hurt her foot while going down the stairs..gak
ada angin gak ada apa..eh, jatuh dia! Well Faust, hope your feet get
well soon. Katanye kakinye ampe biru-biru getu..hiii..syeremm.

Alhamdulillah after I arrived at home (numpang ama Sisca^_^)
I ate dinner, took a bath, and then I massaged my feet... Now I can
walk normally, and it doesn't really hurt :)

But then, when Faustina hurt her foot (kaki kanan pula sama ama
gw) you know what happened to me? I had a nose-bleed!!!
Huaaaaaa....!!!!!!!! Udah lama banget gw gak mimisan. The last time
I had a nose-bleed was in high school, it happened to me often when
I was in elementary school.

Aduh penyakitnya gak E-LI-TE niy... I dunno what else to put here
I'm running out of topics.

It's Fridaaaayyy~

I had to wake up very early in the morning..that's b'coz of my own
fault... I made the e.COM 2004 Evaluation Meeting at 7 AM!!!
Kaya hari2-H e.COM ajah... Pagi2 sekaleee... But all our members'
schedule bentrok gitu loh, mo gimana lageehh...mo hari sabtu gak
bisa karena ada Student Activity Club Meeting (8-10 AM), COI
Copyright Workshop (10-12 AM), and Marketing Branding Seminar
(1-3 PM). Full house maaannn.....!!!!

Udah gitu 7-9 AM tersisa 4 divisi yang belum laporan, jadi yang ada
kelas jam 9 gw suruh masuk kelas aza. Selese semua divisi laporan
tinggal dikit tuch orang yang tersisa, main committee ajah tinggal
gw en Faust. Trus qta omongin kira2 kalo mo rekrut orang tuk
e.COM 2005 bagaimana cara, truz apa aza yang perlu di-improve
menurut laporan2 tiap divisi. PLUS mo makan2 tuk pembubaran
panitia dimana dan bagaimana! But then we didn't get to an exact
conclusion for that cuz we got hungry talking 'bout food!

Udah kayak gitu seharusnya gw ada kelas tambahan jam 9 tapi
karena masih ada yang laporan gitu...I decided NOT to go to class.
And when I asked my friends what they did in the class, 'twas nothing
TOO important, I mean 'twas just the usual lecturing thing, no quiz
or anything like that.

After that I did the Software Project Management group work with
my team, and now I'm still at campus using free internet!!! HAHAHA!
Oia, gw gak jadi pasang kawat tanggal 18 September tapi jadi
25 September, karena gw mo ikut seminar pas tanggal 18 ^_^;
Udah ah, gw udah gak tau lagi mo nulis apa lageee...

Before I start with my blabbing, about the bombing in Kuningan...
That is so cruel whoever did that...tiada ampun bagimu!!! Semoga
mendapat balasan yang setimpal di akhirat...huh you've hurt a lot
of innocent people out there and killed a lot too... If you wanna
kill the Aussies, shoot a bullet thru their head, don't do a bombing
kind of thing, you hurt innocent people that way...not saying that
some Aussies are guilty of anything... May the people who have
passed away in the Kuningan, Jakarta and WTC, New York
Rest In Peace... May their family be blessed dan diberi ketabahan
hati mengahadapi segala cobaan... Amiinnn...

Minggu pertama kuliah melelahkan dan bikin SHOCK!!! Yaa
ampyuuunnnn....~ (ala Tante Tika) I feel tired and shocked...
The schedule's so confusing cuz there's actually 4 BiNusian batches
now in BiNus IUP JWC Building!!!

Anyway, it's Saturday and this afternoon I went to the Orthodontist
near my house dan juga langganan kantor Bokap. Sebenernya udah
lama gw mo ke drg tuk pasang kawat gigi (braces), tapi gak pernah
sempet atau lupa ^_^; dan tadi sore gw ke drg dan dibilang next
Saturday (Sept 18) I have to come again en langsung pasang kawat!
Ohmigod...sebenernya gigi gw gak berantakan banget, deretan atas
udah pernah pake retainer jadi ok ok ajah...deretan bawah juga
cuma ada beberapa gigi yang overlapping...drg yang sebelumnya juga
bilang gak perlu kawat gigi koq. Tapi kadang2 akhir2 ini kalo makan
yang berserat or sumthing like that, suka nyangkut di gigi deretan
bawah dan bikin nyeri+ngilu gitu T_T

Jadi saya bertekad untuk memperbaiki susunan gigi saya dengan
memakai kawat gigi..tapi kalo di-piki2 lagi, udah "umur" juga ya
gw baru pake kawat...rata2 temen2 gw udah pada copot, ini gw
malah baru mo pasang ckckck... Kata Orthodontist-nya sich
bisa dicopot sebelum Februari 2005, dimana Insya Allah gw akan
ke Aussie..kalo gak ada perubahan sejak bombing di Kuningan >,<

Kayak apaan ya gw kalo pake kawat gigi???? Untuk mengetahuinya
silahkan ketemu ama gw setelah 18 September 2004...
Hopefully it won't hurt that much, cuz the Orthodontist (bleh a hard
word to type) said that there's no tooth needed to be pulled out
and in my case, it's not that bad...

Oia, the Kuningan Bombing happened on my parents' 20th
Anniversary!! O-M-G! Plus I have another blog actually which was

4th Day of e.COM 2004

Whoa! It's the last day already! I stayed at campus where only
the Debate Division was left, the other competitions were already
at STC Senayan. I was signing the certificates of the
participants, after that was done then we went to STC. I went
there with Susanti, Shinta, and an LO (I'm sorry I forgot your
name man, maap yak).

I arrived at STC (by walking) at about 10 AM past. Then I saw the
final of Spelling Bee, and it was down to 2 people..Jesse and
Clara or Lala as we all call her! Lala is a BiNus IUP student,
and it was clear that she was gonna win it! After that was done,
I went to the food court to see the Story Telling Competition's
semi which was pretty good, and then I ate lunch.

Tapi cobaan terus menimpa..sempat mati lampu ampe 3 kaleee di
STC!!! Tapi untungnya after lunch the lights cooperated, hehe :)
I didn't have a chance to see the SCRABBLE and News Casting
Competitions' Finals!!! Padahal the judges for News Casting were
from METRO TV!!! I just watched the finals of Spelling Bee and
Debate...then when I was sittin' down watching the Debate...
suddenly someone called my name... *JRENG-JRENG* there were my
cousin (Kak Ita) and my Aunt (Bou Iche)... So I talked to them
for a while, then they went home. At about 2 or 3 PM I just
realized what we were missing...the trophies!!!! O-M-G!!!! So I
asked Heaven of Property to get the trophies which were put in
the Student Committee Room at campus. Heaven, Vera, Stevan, and
someone-else-I-forgot took care of the logos that were missing
from the trophies...good thing that Anthony was at home and was
able to design it fast and they printed it out and laminated it.
Masya allah...cobaan...cobaan... Gw en Faust stress stress gitu
dech...But at last the trophies were done on time.

The Closing Ceremony started late cuz we had to wait for the
Debate Division's Final Round... But I felt sorry for Pak Tri who
represented BiNus IUP in giving the Closing Speech, he had to
catch a train T_T I feel bad for him... But at last e.COM came to
an end, but then nobody paid attention to my speech ;( hix hix
Sutralah hai..no worries... We had a photo session, but I only
got into 1 photo ;( hix again cuz when we started to take the
photos Makoto called me cuz he had to return the key of 311... So
I went to take the keys from him at the entrance door, when I
came back there was only 1 more photo left...even though I'm not
too fond of being in front of a camera, but if it's a group photo
like that I'd like to be part of it ^_^

We went back to JWC to clean the place up, and my parents asked
for my one of my neighbors' chauffeur to pick me up at campus. So
I wasn't able to stick around for so long. Oia, motornya Felix
kan dikunci, ternyata kuncinya gak bisa dibuka!!! Alhasil
kuncinya di-gergaji sodara-sodari!!! Sepanjang jalan pulang gw
nonton Result Show Indo Idol on TV, my Dad's car (the Mitsubishi
KUDA) has a TV, hehehe jadi gak ketinggalan! Gile bener, Senayan
penuh en muacett man! Trus Nania nyanyi lagu perjuangan BAGUS
BANGET!!! Bikin gw terharu, snif snif..

Sampe di rumah Bo-Nyok pergi ke Undangan, Ade udah tidur, ada
juga pembantu gw lagi nonton Indo Idol. Tapi gak pa-pa, wong
pulang-pulang ada Pizza Hut! Ya udah gw sambil makan pizza,
sambil nonton result show Indo Idol! Udah luamma kagak makan
uenakkk! Abiz tiap hari pas e.COM 2004 ini saking stressnya gw
malah makan sedikit atau gak makan sama sekaleee... (T_T)

Wuahahahahahahahahahahahahaha......!!!!!!! Tertawa SENANK
SEKALEEEE gw pas ketauan Joy yang menang...daripada Delon...
mendingan Joy...tapi sesungguhnya (cie elah kosa katanya) daqu
ingin para Grand Finalists adalah Nania dan Joy itu baru seru,
atau Nania dan Lucky! Karena seharusnya Joy gak boleh ikut, wong
dia udah bikin 2 album walo gak terkenal (1 album rohani Kristen
& 1 album lagu2 Batak, HORAS BAH) PLUS dia udah sering ke luar
negeri... Kasihan Nania en Lucky yang berbakat dan tidak pernah
mengalami itu... Tapi gak pa-pa dech, wong yang menang juga orang
Batak hehehe HORAS ORANG BATAK!!! huehehehe Gw sendiri
orang Batak dengan marga Siregar dari Bokap, tapi Nyokap gw
orang Sunda.. gado-gado dech gw... ^_^

3rd day of e.COM 2004

In the wee morning I sat at the e.COM Security Check Table at the
lobby waitin' for my Dad to bring my laptop and some clothes to
change into (I ran out of clothing when I slept over @ Nindya's
place). Orang2 yang gak tau gw lagi nungguin Bokap, pada absen ke
gw gitu. Yang lewat lift juga (lift berada di dalem sedangkan gw
berada di luar) keluar doeloe tuk laporan ama gw bahwa mereka gak
telat... Gw yang, "Ya udah langsung ajah ke ruang 311, nanti gw
nyusul." Cuz my dad was running late, I went upstairs to do the
briefing and stuff like the days before. After the briefing then
my dad came, so I went downstairs again to meet him. I feel bad,
for my dad was late to the office just cuz he had to stop by at
my campus to give me my laptop >,< I'm sorry Daddy...
It's a Friday, and all the activities which usually end at 12PM 2day
ended at 11:30 AM...so we started the entertainment earlier than
usual, and for the guys who had to pray, they went to the mosque.
I met my friend Ninta, who substituted for Dian who fainted on the
1st day of e.COM (refer to the entry on September 1st). Ternyata
dia jago nyanyi!! Padahal doeloe waktu di Amrik biasa ajah dech
nyanyi-nya...ternyata kata ade2 kelasnya dia menjadi juara 2
Smunsa Idol (SMUN Satu Bogor Idol)!!! Ya udah, I asked her to
perform for the lunch entertainment thingy, but she didn't want
to..so I just went downstairs to the lobby by myself.

Suddenly Mentari (the Head of Event Handler for the Opening and
Closing Ceremony plus the lunch entertainment) said that the UKM
Band BiNus Syahdan couldn't come and that we didn't have anymore
people to fill in for the show...then *ting* I got an idea!!! Gw ke atas
dan gw seret nyang namanya Ninta yang lagi ngejaga tas2nya
temennya yg pada lagi sholat dengan LO-nya A'Aming. Gw minta
A'Aming ngejagain tas2 temen2nya, en gw seret tuch anak ke
lobby!!! huehehehe kejam yak?! But at last she wanted to sing for me
on my request, and good thing Adisti is a good piano player so she
could play the piano part of "Valentine" that was the special song
that Ninta could do best! Before Ninta started singing, she had a li'l
interview wit MC Pops (Eko) and said that she's only singing cuz the
Project Leader (that would be me) told her to do so... (T_T)

Well, everybody liked the lunch entertainment 2day, there was a big
crowd at the lobby, and also on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor all staring
down at the lobby. And I just ate my lunch at about 1 PM when I
actually promised Adisti that I would watch the semi-finals of her
division, Spelling Bee Competition, so I came late for the semi's. I
only got a chance to see a small part of it, cuz then someone called
me through the walkie-talkie which was on the lowest volume, the
Spelling Bee neeeded silence. But then I was happy cuz the Spelling
Bee was my idea and I just made the basics of it, but Adisti and her
team mewujudkannya melebihi apa yang gw perkirakan!!! Gw
terharu! Thank you Adisti and friends!

Seperti biasa gw bersih2in 311 tapi kali ini dengan bantuan Faustina
dan orang ISS. Ada sebagian anak2 yang langsung ke STC tuk beres2
di sana, dan sebagian masih di kampus JWC tuk ngeberesin ruangan2
yang dipake semi-finals-nya Debate. Setelah yang di JWC selese gw
& Nindya kan mo pulang ke tempatnya Nindya, jadi gw minta Karim
tuk nganterin, eh pas udah keluar kampus dia malah belok kiri di
pertigaan, bukannya kanan! Ternyata ada masalah di STC...the
chairs that STC ordered from the supplier were late, and we didn't
know what time the chairs were gonna come...it might be possible
that the chairs would come on Saturday morning...which means that
we only have 1 hour in the morning to take care of THREE FLOORS
in a mall!!!

Ya udah, Karim was the first to break the bad news to the others,
then I continued it to tell them to go home cuz it's already late in the
night, especially for the girls. When I was just about to finish my
part, suddenly Karim got a call and Heaven (I mean it, there's a guy
named Heaven at my campus) shouted, "The chairs are here!!!" And
right at that moment I hugged Nindya who was closest to me and
cried...I assure you those were tears of joy and thanks to
Allah SWT...tangisan lega gitu looohhh >_< Eh malah si Heaven
nanya gw, "Kenapa Mut? Lo takut e.COM ini gagal?" No! I was not
afraid that this e.COM would end in a disaster, cuz I trust my
friends and I trust in God, I was crying cuz I felt relieved that
everything was gonna be OK... Then it became a li'l circle of me,
Heaven, Karim, Nindya, and Edo, Edo says that, "For every door
that closes before us, God will open a window..." Then I stayed a
while to see the others lifting up chairs, and after that Nindya
and I went back to her place, but this time with Vera.

2nd Day of e.COM 2004

Well, 2day was as tiring as yesterday.. Running around with a
walkie-talkie beside my ear >_< Not much of a prob 2day cuz we
learned from our mistakes from yesterday, at least internally there
were no problems... We even had UKM Band BiNus Syahdan play
for us in our lunch time performances! We thank them for letting
us borrow their band equipment and for playing for us.

But of course, cobaan akan terus datang untuk anak manusia.. It
was already late in the afternoon, and we still had some e.COM
activities goin' on, only the debate participants and adjudicators were
left, the other competitions either didn't have any activities or was
already done for 2day.

It was 'bout 4 or 5 in the afternoon when I was talking with Adisti at
the lobby, suddenly we saw a riot right in front of our campus, and
that our campus fence were closed so that no one can come in or go
out. To get a better look of what was goin' on (cuz we really didn't
have any idea what was happenin') we went straight to the third
floor. Then the other people on the same walkie-talkie channel as I
was were talkin' 'bout the riot, which was made by the University
beside ours, Univ. Prof. Dr. Moestopo Beragama. We were told
to remain calm and the e.COM committee should try to escort all
participants so they would not see what was happening in front of
our campus. Good thing that the Debate Division took a long time
so the riot was done before the participants went home. And at that
time some of the committee were stressed out >_<

Another good thing was...to my relief...Adisti played the piano down
at the lobby while the Debate Division was in the Debater's Hall
(which was moved from 210-211 to 301-302). Itu mencairkan
uasana yang sempat tegang sebelumnya, all the committee were
cheering Adisti on and clapping for her. Then when the participants
came out of the Debater's Hall, some of them went downstairs..
One of them sang along to Adisti's piano playing of the song
"If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys! Go Adisti Keys!!!
hehehe... It was very soothing and enjoyable after all we went
through that day ^_^;

But it gave me a hard time in starting the Eva for 2day (^_^)
wong gw sendiri enjoy music very much..so we had an Eva at about
6 past sumthin. After the Eva like the days before, I cleaned up
the Committee Room...and Coro dropped Nindya and I off at
Nindya's place.

1st Day of e.COM 2004

Whoa!!! Last night we started to "work-out" changing the layout
of the rooms after the Graduate School students finished their
classes, we started at about 9 PM. Well umm, this morning my
alarm turned on at about 4:30 AM and so I woke up..leaving the
alarm on (sengaja biar Kappa alias Nindya bangun) eh..malah tetep
molor ni anak! Trus alarmnya dia nyala.. gw pikir dia bangun, eh
enggak juga dia matiin trus tidur lageeeehhh... Ya ude gw
tinggalin ke kamar mandi... And when I came back 2 her room at
last she woke up ^_^ Kebo banget sich loe Nin ckckck...


The first day of e.COM 2004:
I told everybody yesterday 2 come the latest at 6:30 AM so we can
have a briefing so that the Re-Registration process could start @
7 AM. Ok so at about 6:40 AM I started the briefing and ended it
with a prayer 2gether 2 ask for help from The Almighty. Then I
asked them all to put their hands in the middle like people do
before a basketball game or American football game that I watch
on TV, "Ok guys..put your hands in the middle, if you can't reach
the middle support us from the back..on three say e.COM! OK?!
1..2..3..e.COM!!!!" hehehe cukup memacu semangat temen2
sepertinya :) Seneng jadinya.

Then there were a bit of prob's in the re-registration process,
as usual from the years before, registration has always been a
problem, hopefully next year's e.COM can improve the Registration
Division... After that @ 8AM we started the Opening with already
LOTSA participants at the lobby (a sight that we did not imagine
1 and a half weeks a go ^_^ at last, we reached our target number
for the participants). I, as the Project Leader, sat beside Mrs.
Patricia Gray Mowatt, a representative from BiNus IUP to give an
Opening speech. After Mrs. Pat, 'twas my turn for a speech, got
kinda nervous cuz there were a lot of people there, but then my
speech didn't even take 3 minutes so it was pretty quick.

After that the Opening Ceremony ended earlier than expected, so
before 9 AM the competitions could already start. And for the
whole day I was bringing a walkie-talkie around with me to keep
contact with Edo (e.COM's Security Division), Sam (e.COM's
Property Div.), JWC's Security (Protecom), JWC's Janitors (ISS),
and JWC's Building Management (BM). Wara-wiri..mondar-mandir
kayak orgil (org gila) gitu, bentar2 gw dipanggil ke lantai 2,
tiba2, lantai 4, trus lantai 3, abiz itu tiba2 ada masalah di
lobby alias lantai 1...fiuuhh capek juga... At the end of the day
we had an Evaluation Meeting (Eva we call it), and ended it with
a prayer. Oia! Sempet ada anak SMUN 1 Bogor bernama Dian yang
pingsan karena penyakit yang dideritanya..akhirnya Medical Team
qta (which consists of Makoto... Makoto... and did I mention
Makoto??) beraksi!!! JRENG JRENG Makoto to the rescue!!! LO-nya
dipanggil Aming..tapi karena anak2nya orang Bogor jadi panggilnya
A'Aming (bukan Aa' Gym yach sodara-sodara)..aduh si Aa' teh baik
pisan... Cieee A'Aming... And since I knew one of their seniors
in SMUN 1 Bogor whose name was Ninta, I said, "Udah Dian gak usah
pikirin Debate ini. Pulang aja dan istirahat, minta Teh Ninta aja
gantiin..hehe request dari Project Leader niy..." Dan abis itu
mereka pulang dan Dian gw papah ke bawah. Phew..what a day...


After the Eva, Nindya and I decided 2 go home after the
"work-out", but like the nite before we had to go before the
others. Karim dropped us off at Nindya's place, and the both of
us talked a lot bout e.COM 2004's 1st day..until we both got
sleepy.

But before that, while we were waiting for the Graduate School
students.. At first I was just talking with Winston, then came
Nindya..Marko..and Heaven... cerita2 anehlah qta..apalagi ada si
Ngemeng Heaven..tiba2 pas Heaven lagi ngemeng2 gitu..ada pengamen
bertampang Arab bernama Erich (haha no offense yach 'rich)! So he
took a chair and sat wit us strummin' a Fender-semi-accoustic-guitar
-that-I-wanna-bring-home-wit-me-but-I-didn't-know-who-owns-it,
ikutan cerita2 jugalah dia. Btw, Erich was "the outsider" in this group
cuz he was the only non-BiNus IUP student in the Committee and sittin'
wit us waitin' for the "work-out"...

Udah kayak gitu cerita2 aneh..the topic was:
"Orang2 Cacat" yang jelas kalo Winston & Heaven pasti cerita
tentang kejadian2 pas O'Days...And they talked 'bout Yanze (if
I'm not wrong his real name is Yanuar)... Yanze jangan tersinggung
yaaaahhhhh... We didn't mean any harm ;)

He was saying, "Mau marah.."
and then "Mau nangis.."then
"Mau mati.."and at last on the last day of the Outbound at Lido he
said, "Gw udah gak mau marah, mau nangis, mau mati lagi.."
Temen2nya, "Trus apa donk??"
Yanze, "Mau pulang.."T_T

Yaa ampyuuunnnn!!!! (taken from Tante Tika's saying) That was
just some part of Heaven's story of O'Days...Then Erich continued
the story of a debater he trained for the National Debating
Competition..she won Best Speaker or sumthin' like that (correct
me if I'm wrong), pokoke kalo udah Debate! Wuidih seru dan pinter
banget dech nge-debate-nya.. tapi di luar ruangan debate...she is
sooo...soooo...duh gimana ngejelasinnya yaa...??

Pokoke kalo ngeliat kelakuan ni anak yang dipanggil Natha (kalo
gak salah) di luar ruangan debate, lo gak percaya dia pinter
debate, en kalo gak pengen ngerjain dia pasti lo gemes sendiri
ngeliat kelakuan dia atau malah pengen ditabok saking dodol en
dudutznya ni anak >_<

So here goes part of the story, kalo mo detailnya tanya aja Erich
langsung, wong dia sendiri yang jadi coach-nya tim Jakarta yang
ada Natha-nya. Jadi ceritanya lagi nginep di hotel, trus mo makan
menggunakan jasa room service.

Dia buka donk buku yang ada di meja di ruangan hotel..dan
dibaca-lah.. "Laundry Service.. Receptionist.. Room Service..
Bell Boy.. umm...ini makanan apa ya??" dengan lugunya dia berkata
begitu..gimana gak gemes loe?!Trus temennya ada yang ngebukain
bagian menu-nya dan nunjuk ke list makanan. Udah gitu dia baca..
"Beef steak...ini tuch ayam atau makanan apa ya??"

Temen2nya,"Aduh Natha, baca yang bener donk beef itu apa?"

Natha,"Beef itu..daging sapi.. Ok...umm..itu gak pake ikan 'kan?"

Temen2nya,"Aduuhhh..ya enggaklah.."

Kemudian dia liat bagian Dessert...Natha,"Se-po-nge keik..." (sponge
cake mxdnya tapi dibaca kayak bahasa Indonesia gitu...)

Temen2nya,"Aduh Natha...itu bacanya sponge cake!" (cara yg benar
mengucapkan ala bahasa Inggris)

Natha,"Oh iya..se-po-nge keik..." (tetep aja dia baca ala Indo
T_T)

Udah kayak gitu mo nelpon Room Service, dia gak tau nomernya,
temen2nya suruh dial 911..dan dia lakukan itu...Luammaa banget
kagak nyambung2, ditanyain donk ama temen2nya, "Koq lama?"

Natha, "Sabar..nanti juga pasti nyambung.."

Trus ada seorang temennya yang "berbaik-hati" nge-dial nomernya
buat dia..pas diangkat suara di ujung sono mengatakan, "Laundry
Service, bisa dibantu?"

Natha nyerocos ajah, "Iya saya mau pesen beef steak gak pake ikan
dan satu se-po-nge keik.."

"Umm..sebentar yaa..saya sambungkan dengan Room Service."

Setelah tersambung dengan Room Service, Nathat nyerocos lageeh,
"Iya saya mau pesen beef steak gak pake ikan dan satu se-po-nge
keik.."

Abis itu dianterin-lah ke kamarnya...and the rest of the story
you won't understand it if I write it, and it wouldn't be funny
at all if I was the one telling you people.. Udah ah panjang ajah
ini entry.

H-1!!!! e.COM 2004's on the waaayyy~

This morning I went to Nindya's boarding house (kos2an atuh) to
put my bags there..cuz starting 2nite (Tuesday nite) I'm gonna be
sleepin' over @ Nindya's place! 2day would be the simulation of
e.COM 2004... Turns out that some of the rooms weren't ready
before the time. 2day I got to meet the LO's who are mostly from
the 2008 BiNusian Batch. Our base camp was 311 (sounds like a
band that has a good song -> "Love Song") on the third floor of
our beloved campus ;) This room was a flat room, and I made a
rule that shoes are only allowed near the door...jadi gak susah2
amet pas beresin ruangan malem2nya....

Karena ada beberapa barang yg perlu dibeli, Mario, Mentari,
Nindya & I went 2 Carrefour, RaPlaz and also ate dinner there.
Waktu bayar buat belanja, ATM BCA gw gak bisa lageeehhh, BeTe
padahal sblm gw Nindya bisa (T_T) sentimen deh mesinnya ama gw...
Selain keperluan gw sendiri, I bought soap + shampoo for
Karim...he said he wanted to take a bath @ campus. Abis itu Io
mengantarkan gw en Nindya balik ke kosannya tuk istirohat
sejenak..abis itu qta balik lagi ke JWC. At about 9PM lotsa
people were already @ campus @ the lobby...aduuuhh >.< dudul pada
nyantai2 gitu di bawah sementara yg harus qta kerjakan tuch di
lantai 2, 3 & 4!!! Dan layoutnya dibawa oleh Bapak qta Ardo, and
at that time Ardo wasn't back @ campus yet (>_<)

But then Heaven and Sam were there so we just started our
"work-out" of changing the layout of the rooms we were gonna use
and I was setting and cleaning up the Committee Room, which was
311! At 'bout 10:30 PM or so, Nindya and I had to go back to her
place or else we would be locked out of the boarding house (bener
gak sich kos2an tuch boarding house??). So I gave the 311 key to
Karim, and went back 2 Nindya's place with Nindya + a chauffeur
named Coro with his Mercedes-Benz hehehe ;D

At Nindya's place, Nindya and I took turns taking a bath...
Ohmigod!!! When I entered the bathroom...I was shocked!!! I have
never seen cockroaches that big in a bathroom!!! Wah sodaranya
Coro tuch tukang intip, huehehe juz kidding Bapak Baskoro ;) I
mean I rarely "meet" a bug named cockroach in the bathroom at my
house, and even if I do..they're not that BIIIGG huaaaaa....!!!
Alhasil gw mandi bebek or mandi koboi..whatever-lah..mandi cepet2
biar gak lama2 deket2 ama yg namanya K-E-C-O-A!!! After taking a
bath, I went to Nindya's room, Nindya took a bath while I was
trying to be creative to make an Opening Speech for the Opening
of e.COM 2004 which would be 2moro (alias ngemeng2 nggak
jelas...) Even after Nindya was done with her bath, I still
didn't write down anything for my speech, and so I stared at the
e.COM 2004 Guide Book at the Prologue that I made... Took a
phrase or two from there, add a li'l bit of this and that here
and there...VOILA!! My speech is done..containing only 3
sentences >_< huehehe... Singkat padat jelas and to the point ;)

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!

Yesterday I got a report on the Guide Books...and... *JRENG JRENG* my frenz got it done as much as 280 books!!! I am sooo happy :)

Gw ga nonton Grand Final Indo Idol krn ada acara Penutupan (sekaligus Malam Keakraban) 17-an Komplek BI (Bank Indonesia) Pasar Minggu, truz ada temen gw Andhina yg kuliah di Yogya lagi liburan jadi pulang ke Jakarta...But it wasn't as fun and as crowded as when my frenz and I was the Committee (Panitia 17-an)... Kira2 Indo Idol ada siaran ulangnya gak yaaa...???

Today I woke up late..and when I woke up my head hurt.. Duh gak sembuh2 dech gw. I decided to assign other people to finish up the work that hasn't been done in e.COM, I'm gettin' tired... I actually shouldn't be doing what I did for these couple of days...

Why are there some people who don't know what their job is?And why are there some who are not responsible?

Well that's life, expect the unexpected especially in Indonesia... You will always have to prepare yourself for a situation that was never thought of before.

My Tiring Friday...

Today, I stayed even l8tr than yesterday! I was @ campus 'til 8:50-sumthin' PM O_o WHOA!!! Capek bow! So we had the "Last Meeting" before the Tech Meeting for the participants...then I had to go to my "office" (mampir di Blok S doeloe tuk makan) to give the report to be signed plus my letter of permission. Untung ada Karim, Faustina and Nindya yg nemenin gw... haha Karim jadi supir :)) So when we ate lunch @ Blok S, we talked bout e.COM and stuff. S'posedly before all these problems happening, we could've done lunch 2getha as a whole team...as a whole e.COM 2004 Committee... But it already passed, maybe we can have lunch 2getha some time in the future...

I got home @ 'bout 9:50 PM or so..ate dinner and went straight to sleep.... (I actually wrote this blog on Saturday..hehehe)

My Internships's Over :D

I quit my Internship job... actually not quit but I'm more needed in e.COM than at work where I do nothing. So I was @ campus from 7:30 AM 'til 8 PM!! O_o More than half a day @ campus...seems like I love campus so much ay? Nope..dat's cuz we were short in human resources in making the Guide Book... In the morning we had a "Confession Session" thingy, then we went to STC Senayan to check out the place where we're going to hold e.COM 2004 on da 4th day. Then I went back to campus 2 take care of stuff, and I was left wit Nindya and Winston 'til 8. Udah kaya org gak jelas gitu ngerjain sesuatu yg bukan tanggung jawab kami bertiga >_<

Najooonnngg....

Najooonnngg....Gw sakit lageeeehh... Gara2 pas rapat e.COM kemaren gw duduk di tempat dimana 'pala gw kena AC langsung! Alhasil 'pala gw pusink2 gitu, ditambah gw disamperin ama Kappa en Coro yg waktu itu sedang dalam kondisi tidak enak badan T_T udah dech gw emplu (read: flu) en batuk2 bow! Ohmigod, why does this have to happen when I'm very needed healthy coz I've lotsa stuff to do?! Stuff to do:
1. Do Internship Report
2. Solve all da prob's other peeps can't solve in e.COM
3. Go to work for Internship itself
4. Sort myself out?_?

I just can't seem to get a hold of myself, ya know?
Come to think of it.. this always happens to me when I'm at a point where I'm busy..

My Saturday, my new layout

Wakakaka~ I was late to the Parents & Students meeting regarding RMIT..! But it didn't matter, we got a coffee break anyway. Plus! When I was @ campus Nindya made me a new layout (as you can see)! It might need a li'l fixing here and there, but I like it :D

'twas funny seeing our frenz wit their parents...loetchoe ajah..cuz we've prob'ly have neva met our frenz' parents before, kecwli lo emang udah kenal deket dan sering ke rumah temen lo!

Oia, I wanna tell what happened these last couple of days..>.< The previous entry was actually written on Friday @ 11:30 sumthin' PM after I watched the Indo Idol Result Show, but I didn't feel like posting it up right away. On Monday (August 16, 2004) I didn't go to work (I'm on Internship at the moment), but instead went to campus to meet with the Building Management (BM) of the campus! 'twas quite a long conversation accompanied by Faustina, Nindya & Winston ^_^; There wasn't any problems coordinating wit the BM.

Then in the afternoon I went to the Bank Indonesia (BI) doctor clinic in my neighborhood (my Dad works in Bank Indonesia, and they give health insurance for their employees and family, trus gw tinggal di rumah dinas BI yg ada kliniknya gitu lho..) The week before, I was ill and only went to work on Monday (August 9, 2004), so I went to the doctor and had my Medical Check-Up. The result of the Medical Check-Up needed to be consulted to the doctor again.

Then on Tuesday (August 17, 2004) as I said in one of my entries that was Indonesia's Independence Day! On Wednesday I went back to work where I did nothing, when at the same time @ campus there was an e.COM meeting. The result of the meeting was...*JRENG JRENG* banyak yg tidak beres Boss!!! Geez why does this mess have to happen?! The posters were already printed, but there was some MAJOR I mean MAJOR mistakes in it! The size of the sponsors' logos weren't according to the contract!! Mati gue! So we had to make a decision to print 'em over again or paste the revised portion of the logos... So we decided to do the latter.

Cuz I feel that 'twas my responsibility as a Project Leader (cieeehh), I went to campus on Thursday to help in fixing the posters. But in the morning I had to go buy the paper to use for printing with the printer that we borrowed (with a cartridge that e.COM 2004 bought) with Sam and Faustina. We went to Faustina's Uncle's Paper Store (Toko Kertas?) at Mampang Prapatan...huehehehe lurus2 belok2 dikit nyampe dah di rumah gw! But of course I didn't go back home after that! I'm a responsible person ;) Then we went back to campus to start fixing the posters. I feel sorry for the 4 juniors who were "forced" to help us, huahahaha... :)) I had fun even though I spent like almost half a day @ campus! That's my commitment for e.COM!

On Friday (where my plans were to go back to work) I went to campus again...and I met Pak Tri and talked about the problem I had, so he's gonna be the one talking to my Supervisor at work about my absency. I was the one printing the correction of the posters in the wee morning in the IT Room (read: 406)! There was nobody there from e.COM, only 2 IT ppl in the same room wit me. Then a li'l l8r there were some more peeps comin', and they had an LO Training from 'bout 10 AM 'til 'bout 11:30 AM in 301... When I entered the room at 11:30 AM where they were wrappin' up, Kartika (read: Tante TIka) suddenly said, "Now here is our Project Leader!" and the juniors were like clapping their hands and stuff, I was like.. *uh okay..>.<* After the juniors went home, we started working on the posters again! There was Moniq, CG, Tinq2, Shinta, Nindya, and of course me! Not to forget Karim ^_^; I was @ campus 'til 'bout 6 PM or so. Arrived at home at about 6:4ty-sumthin' (I forgot).. Then I was called by one of my old frenz & talked 4 awhile, after that I ate dinner wit my family (I am a person who really cares for my family :D).

After dinner, of course @ 8 PM on RCTI there was Indonesian Idol on TV live from Balai Sarbini at Plaza Semanggi! That's what made me cry, the result of the contest that night :(( huweee... For the details read my entry named Indol Dodol!

Udah doeloe yach! I think this a pretty long entry itself...I think I'm startin' to become Kappa, or maybe I got her virus of writing looonnnnggg entries ^_^; Duh Nindya, jangan nularin virus yg aneh2 duonx ;p hehehe...by the way thanx again for the layout you made Nin :)

Gw nangis niy...nangis...mengalir deras airmataqu. Apalagi saat dia menyanyikan lagu terakhirnya... lagu dari Ruth Sahanaya yang berjudul "Ingin Kumiliki"... udah kayak keran bocor gitu mata gw... :(( huweeee...hix hix hix beribu kali...!

Gw tadinya udah seneng2 ditelpon ama temen lama gw..eh tau2 begini jadinya... Kebahagiaan gw yg sesaat itu pudar oleh Indonesian Idol Result Show :( Sampe2 ide buat nulis lirik lagu atau poem yg tadinya udah di kepala, gak jadi dech...

Duh, emang yg namanya Mutia tuch sehati ya? Tapi yg jadi juri di Indol mah tulisannya Meutia (Kasim). Jagoan dia ama gw tuch sama, Bona, Lucky & akhirnya Nania pada keluar semua...boo-hoo :(( padahal Nania tuch udah andalan gw yg terakhir... Bikin gw keki niy... Tapi walo gak jadi Indol, paling Nania buat album juga & pasti ada lagunya yg diciptain sama Mas Indra Lesmana...

Wuaduh, skrg tgl 18 Agustus!! Kemaren DIRGAHAYU RI t'cinta yang ke-59!!! Happy Independence Day Indonesia!!! I actually don't really feel like writing in English, I just might write most of it in Indonesian.

Jadinya kemaren seperti biasanya di komplek gw ada lomba2 17-an, mulai jam 9-an ampe lunch istirahat en shalat dzuhur. Setelah itu baru mulai lagi jam 3-an yang panjat pinang & tebak koin tuk masyarakat sekitar komplek (kalo yg lomba2 pagi2 tuch khusus orang dalem komplek)... Jam 10-an gw ditelpon ama temen (yg juga tetangga gw) Adie, gw ditanyain apakah gw akan datang ke lapangan atau gak. Gw bilang iya, tapi tunggu temen gw doeloe (Julia), yg mo dateng ke rumah jam 11. Gw tunggu... dan tunggu... tak kunjung datang... Gw hampir seharian sendiri di rumah tuch, karena nyokap gw ke lapangan, bokap belum pulang dari upacara di kantor, ade gw juga upacara di skul, en p'bokat gw ikut2an pergi lagee...>.< fiuuhhh... alhasil gw nonton upacara kenaikan Sang Merah Putih *hormat* di Istana...tapi di TiPi-lah.. ngapain gw ke Istana sono?! O_o Wuahhhh kereeeennnn Paskibnya...!!! Bisa together gitu yak?! *kampung bangeeeetttt Mutiaaaaa* Plus baca comic yg gw beli pada hari sabtu, sepulang dari kampus (abis meeting e.COM bo', bikin gw pusink ajah).

Akhirnya, bokap gw pulang dari kantor & nyokap gw dari lapangan, tapi setelah itu bo-nyok gw pergi tuk jemput ade gw. Paginya ade dianter ama supir, tapi supir gw jadi panitia 17-an di RT die, jadi cuma bisa nganter doank. Setelah bo-nyok gw pergi...barulah temen gw Julia dateng.. >.< ampuuunn ampuuunn..udah mo jam 12 baru dateng. Udah gitu qta ngob's macem2, abiz temen SMA gitu loohh, trus beda Univ gitu loh... Then bo-nyok en ade gw pulang, so qta mkn siang, tapi kerana Julia sudah kenyang (udh mkn doeloe di rumah), jadi yg makan gw en family ajah. Abiz makan gw en Julia ngob's lagi di kamar gw, sambil baca comic! Bwahaha... baru am 3 ke lapangan! Nonton panjat pinang dah... diomelin lagi ama Adie.."Jadi jam 12 elo tuch jam 3 ya?! ckckck..." Yach gw tunjuk aja Julia, gara2 nungguin Julia siy... duh Jul...Jul...

Aduuuhhh...taon ini 17-an gak seruuu.... Temen2 gw yg seumur, yg taon lalu masih ada, taon ini udah pada pindah keluar komplek semua jadi gak rame... Ditambah lagi yg panjat pinang gak lama, langsung dapet gitu... gak seru bangeeetttt.... >,< Lagian kan yg taon kemaren gak ada yg dapet krn tiangnya terlalu tinggi, 9 meter gitu loohhh...! Taon ini diturunin jadi 7 meter dan gak pake oli!!! Cuma pake gemuk doank, gak pake oli...gak licin duonk... Pantes aja gampang banget dapetnya... Udah kaya gitu, ternyata pas paginya ada Eja, temen lama gw yg lagi di Jakarta, padahal dia kuliah di UnSoed, Purwokerto. Padahal gw kangen bgt ama semua temen2 gw, eh ketemunya ama Adie doank... :P hehehe... Jangan marah ya 'di ;)

Wah wah wah...you know what they say bout "Still waters run deep..." you never know when a quiet person becomes angry...>.< Talkin' bout this is b'coz of sumthin that happened suddenly...in my office... This one guy suddenly got angry and it involved physical contact (berantem gitu lho...), I didn't really seem 2 catch what the problem was...I think 'twas just a small prob... That's the danger of quiet people... Kaget gw biasanya orgnya cengengesan, tiba2 bisa marah gtu...maen fisik lageee...ckckck..fiuh glad I wasn't in their way when that happened...

Anyway as you can see from my entry below I'm promoting my campus' event which is e.COM 2004, BiNus IUP English Competition 2004!!! Yes I am the Project Leader (bangga lageee...^_^) padahal being a Proj. Leader's not easy u know... Wah jadi curhat niy gw...many things to think about, when right now I'm also havin Internship @ a software development company named Sigma.

Tiring? Yes... Bored? Yes... Sore? Yup!!! My butt's sore cuz of sittin' down too much! But then I got lotsa lessons from this job of mine...lessons that I'll keep to myself...wakakakaka...! Pelit ilmu...huehehehe...gak ding...I'll tell you some but maybe not now :)

huahaha...they had a bazaar or sumthin like that, unfortunately I couldn't attend it as an alumni (I got these words from a fren of mine^_^ mxdnya siiihh sayang sekali gw gak bs dateng ke acaranya....emang sapa yg undang elo Mut!!!! huahaha :D)

I knew that my high school got a b'day thru the radio (MTV Sky at 101.4), and DJ Kemal asked one girl, who's a nu student at SMU 28, how old 28 is....and she didn't know... Wajarlah....I'm an alumni and I don't even know it! bwahahahaha ;P I juz remember that when I was still in hi skul, there was a time where 'twas around Independence Day (August 17) we always didn't have classes cuz our skul had a b'day...^_^;

And 2day, one of my juniors (who's also the gf of 1 of my frenz) is having a b'day!!! Happy Birthday Sunshine!!!
Hmmm...I dunno what 2 put down here anymore, I'll write more l8tr on, TTFN!

This usually happens to young'uns... Where there are some young people who get a broken heart and do stupid things, some even killing themselves... Now for you out there, don't do stupid things!! OK? Now back to the story...

After all the crying and weeping and singin' along to the song and all (for the girls) you tell your friend about it and ask for some help... (still crying of course)
So they give you all these suggestions on overcoming your broken heart, one of 'em would be: "There's plenty of fish in the sea! Just forget him/her and find another! Your tears aren't worth it!"

That's true, we humans have been eating lotsa fish but there are still lotsa fish in the sea to be caught... Oops...that is true but that's not what I mean in the entry today, hehehe ^_^
What I mean is, it is true, there are still a lot of people out there that we haven't met yet, and might be our partner in life..! We're still young, so we should not waste our time weeping over some guy or gal...

We can meet others who can treat us better and won't break our heart. We can make ourselves busy by focusing on our studies (fix that red-mark or F that you have), reading a good novel, reading a funny comic book, watching good shows on TV, watching the latest Box Office Movie, window shopping, play at the arcade, play the internet...and alotta other stuff to do. We can open our eyes and our heart to a new world and just maybe a new person, if you can.

You could do all the things in the world to keep yourself busy rather than thinking bout your heartache. But have you ever thought about this sentence?
"There's plenty of fish in the sea,but there's only one fish that can make your special sushi."

And so there are a lot of fish in the sea, but there's only one that's special. And what if the one who broke your heart was your "special fish"? What if you're already stuck on him/her? So you'll be singin' Stacey Orrico then (red. "Stuck")! *Mutia gets slapped*

Haha..eniwei...what if that's the situation? What'll you do?
Even though you feel that you're stuck, it may be just your feeling and what would I say? I'd say the same thing as above... Get busy *Sean Paul*! Make yourself busy by doing sumthing!!! Cuz that's what I did, hehehe ;) Hmmm...I think my entry's not helping...

Well I just felt like writing down that sentence that I got from a fren of mine... When she told me that sentence on the phone I cracked up! I dunno why but I found that sentence very interesting, but I don't have any words to support it... Maybe another time, when I get an idea to match with the sentence^_^ hahahaha...

Gak jelas begini...(>_<)  I'm stressed out (T_T), I'm now (u can say) reporting LIVE from my Internship Workplace aka "my office"... menyalahgunakan fasilitas Huahahaha ^0^ I've been goin in and out of my office room cuz of telephone calls, haha! I am an important person!!! *proud* Actually 'twas calls bout prob's that my English Competition (e.COM) Committee's facing.

I am very busy at the moment...with my job and my committee... I'm the Project Leader of e.COM 2004 for God's sake! fiuuuhhh...

I actually said that after the intermezzo of the 3P's and 1 S (the entry before this one) I'd write bout my daily life over the weekend, but I didn't hav da chance. That's why I'm writing part of it right now!

Oh yeah!! On Monday, July 26th, 2004 my cousin (who I call Kak Fenny) gave birth to twin girls!!! I'm an Auntie! An Auntie with 2 nephews and 4 nieces, and 2 of the nieces are twins! I wanna see 'em...but they're in Bandung.. ;( hix hix... so far for me...

This is kinda like an intermezzo between all the stuff that is goin' on in my life. A couple days ago I talked to my fren, and from this conversation I found sumthin' interesting from it...so I'll write it down here.... (I'll continue wit my daily life this weekend...) Here goes the story...

To tell y'all da truth.. I've never been in a relationship before, but umm I've learned sumthin' from my friend, and that fren of mine is a guy! Amazing to see what he said 'bout his relationship... Hope you and your gal last long 'til u're married and 4eva!! He's been in this relationship for 2 years already, it's not so long compared 2 some ppl I know. But for a guy like him, that's long for sure.

I asked him, "How come you can last that long and it's still goin' on? While at your age, ppl usually still play around and keep on changing partners."

He said, "The secret is the 3 P's and 1 S!"->that's for the Indonesian version

I said, "What's that?"

He said, "Percaya, Perhatian, Pengertian, Sayang..."
Which means Trust, Attention, Understanding, Care...

It came out of the mouth of my fren who is a guy and 2 years younger than me.... So in a relationship you should Trust your loved one no matter the distance between the two of you and no matter what happens, you should give Attention to your loved one so he/she feels that you love him/her, you should try to Understand your loved one because you are the one they expect to Understand when the world is turning its back on him/her, and last you should Care for your loved one wholly and accepting & loving him/her the way he/she is without trying to change him/her... (",)

I had an Internship Interview (Wawancara KKN alias Kuliah Kerja Nyata) on Wednesday and I thought 'twas scary... But when I went inside the room and was asked by the three lecturers there (Mr. Richard Kumaradjaja, Mr. Andreas Kuswara and Mr. Tri A. Budiono) I was like.."This is easy, you juz need 2 answer their questions and that's it!" After dat I had another meeting, which was the briefing of the sponsorship proposal for the English Competition Committee which made my head ACHE too, but that's life! Everything has its ups and downs, we will always be given an exam of life by God the Almighty (Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala {SWT}), and we are to go through those exams to prove that we are humans that can go through those exams, yaa gw terima dengan lapang dada dech! After that I had a Drama shooting for BEST (English Club on campus)!!! But Kappa took over my place for the last half of the shooting as the Director. Thx Kappa!! ^_^ v
