e.COM'05 4th Day

Well all I can say..All's well that ends well.

For Spelling Bee Round 4, I was still able to handle it with the help of Irine in "lending an ear". But for Round 5, I had a headache, a side-effect I think because of handling 3 rounds as a single Judge actually. And so we all switched places. Irine became the Judge, Tephi became "Irine's ear", and I became the pronouncer. The participants were, IMHO, a bit confused with my accent. Cuz I used pure American accent...kasihan juga ya ngedenger "cara orang bule ngomong". The winning word was: "Ileitis" and Sylvia (if I'm not mistaken) from SMUK 4 Penabur won 1st place, Michael Tedjauli from AtmaJaya in 2nd place, and Edwin from Bina Bangsa School in 3rd.

This year's Closing Ceremony was waaaaayyyy BETTER than last year's and the years before. The committee made it HEBOH by doing a BIG Line Dance 'round the lobby and stage to the last songs sung by the band "008" which consists of BiNus IUP students. It was really fun and we tossed Faustina as the Project Leader into the air, 'bout 2-3 meters high!!! Gw takut Faust jatuh... ^_^;; Then people were tossed into the water fountain, 1st it was Faustina, then Erich as the Chief Adju, and then an LO named Ian. WHOA..were they wet..! A fun and gr8t Closing Ceremony this year!!

After the short Eva I gave a handshake to ALL committee thanking and congratulating them. I think that the newbie people thought that I was really really angry last nite, that when I shook their hands they were apologizing to me!! Duh kasian juga gw marahin kemaren... Emang gw upset sih, but that was yesterday.. Then after cleaning up the building, we went to Roti Bakar Eddy Blok M at Jl.Raden Patah to eat together. I feel sorry for Quino cuz he doesn't ubderstand what's on the menu ^__^;; So when he asked what sate/satay was.. David said, "It's meat on a stick!" huahaha.. Quino..kasiaaann deh loe..harus banyak belajar bahasa Indonesia! Pake nanya lagi..partikel "sih", "deh" dan "lah" tuh dipake dalam situasi apa?? Gw bilang aja, "It's all about your experience in speaking in Indonesian Quino..." Gimana cara gw jelasin kapan dipakenya?!
