Lost in the News

From year to year e.COM takes our attention away from the outside world. For the 4 days of e.COM this year (just like last year) I focused on e.COM only, and nothing else. I was always going to campus early in the morning and getting home late in the nite. So at the times when I am at home there were no news on TV and the paper's delivered after I leave home. When I arrive at home at nite I was too tired to read the paper, and there's no news on TV. Lagian gw pulang orang rumah udah pada tidur, atau lagi nonton film apaaa gitu.

And so when I watched the news 2day..I was shocked!! *mengheningkan cipta dimulai*

New Orleans, Louisiana was hit by Hurricane Katrina!! It was kinda like seeing the tsunami situation in Aceh, Indonesia (my beloved country Indonesia). Corpse everywhere, and part of the city flooded. It shows no matter how "strong" your country is economically, it doesn't mean that it's impossible that a disaster would happen.

Update:
I feel upset with the US Government, why are they still racial?! They are always teaching us in school to not be racist, but they still are... So all the teachings in school are all of no use in my opinion!! I use to go to school in the US, and so I know what they teach you about racialism in school. Who cares if you got black-colored skin, white-colored skin, red-colored skin, brown-colored skin, yellow-colored skin, green-colored skin, purple-colored skin, whatever... we are all the same.. Isn't that what the teachers teach us in school...? Then that's what we should practice in our life, not to be racist..! They should immediately send help to Louisiana!!!
